Tonight there is a pre-season game for the Milwaukee Bucks vs. the Dallas Mavericks being held at the La Crosse Center!! How sweet is that?!?! I am so pumped to go see the game!! :D One of the RAs (Resident Assistants) in Coate Hall organized it so that over 80 people from our residence hall are going to the game tonight. It was really an awesome deal because the tickets were only $7.00 and the La Crosse Center is within walking distance from campus!!
On Saturday, there is a wheelchair basketball tournament going on at the Recreational Eagle Center on campus sponsored by the Students Advocating Potential Ability (SAPA) club on campus. There is also a Strongman competition going on at the REC as well. One of the RAs in Coate Hall will supposedly be pulling a truck as part of the competition!!
On an academic note, I have a lot of studying to do before next week. I have a test in radiation physics and genetics both next Friday and I have a genetics lab that morning as well. Just taking things one at a time and knowing that it will all be ok in the end helps me keep things in perspective.
