What!?!?....SNOW!?!?

Being April, you would think that you would be getting the expected "April showers," referring to rain showers, but in Wisconsin, we still get snow showers! Yesterday and last night, it was snowing here in La Crosse and the campus looked like it did in January....well, I guess there wasn't 3 feet of snow, but the point is that it shouldn't be snowing at all in April! What happened to that summer-like weather we had a couple weeks ago?

Anyway, my week has gone pretty well so far. I haven't had as many things due compared to last week. Right now, I just have ongoing things I need to finish before the end of the semester. I am hoping to be able to do a little bit each night to spread out the amount of work that I have to do at one time. The past couple of days I have been having difficulty in my math class, precalculus. So I decided to go to the math tutoring center. (There is a math and chemistry tutoring center located in the Whitney center on campus where students can go to get help with math and chemistry, and the best part is that it is FREE!) The tutors were very helpful and explained the material to me in a way that was different than the teacher had in class. I understand the material a lot better now and found the tutoring center to be very beneficial seeing as I did very well on the quiz we had yesterday. :)

Tonight, I have to go to a presentation for the Radiation Therapy Club at 5:30pm. Then hopefully I'll be able to grab a quick supper before Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU for short) at 7pm. These are just two of the many organizations and clubs that students can get involved in on campus. I really enjoy both of them!

Tomorrow, I have my speech class and then I also have Spanish. I usually don't have Spanish on Friday, but we have to make up a class in order to cover all the necessary material before the end of the semester. Oh well, being done with class in the early afternoon on Friday is still nice! Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up on some sleep this weekend...
