1 Week Left!

Time is winding down in the semester and there is only 1 full week of classes left! Then the final exam week starts. Next Wednesday is the official last day of classes here at UW-L. Then Thursday, December 13th is the "study day." This is a day between the end of classes and the beginning of final exams where all the students in the entire university have the whole day to study (if they so choose). There are no classes or final exams on this day for anyone. The study day is something that I personally really appreciate. It is nice to have that little bit of extra time to prepare for finals after classes have ended. One reason this is especially helpful is because a lot of classes have exams on the last day of classes and then there is also a final for the class during finals week. An example of this for me is my chemistry class. We have a unit exam on Wednesday (the last day of classes) and then we also have a cumulative final exam the following Tuesday during finals week.

With the semester drawing to a close, things can get pretty hectic! There are usually lots of exams, projects, papers, etc. that everyone is trying to finish up before the end of the semester. My schedule isn't too bad compared to those of some other people. I don't have anything big for the rest of this week. However, Monday is going to be a stressful day for me. I have a homework packet in chemistry due, an anatomy and physiology lab practical, a computer science test, and also a short paper due in anatomy and physiology all topped off with a meeting for the planning committee for Relay For Life! It will definitely be a good feeling when Monday is over!
